Biography
Andrew was born to Verity and Andrew Blamey in 1793. He was the only son of Verity and the third child and second son of Andrew.
Andrew was beloved by his parents and a longed for child for his mother. His father was a captain in the navy which meant their family spent time away from his mother's relatives in Cornwall.
He returned to Cornwall at the age of one with his mother, where he visited Trenwith to the joy of his great-great aunt, Agatha Poldark. He and his mum later left for good by joining his father in Portugal.
