Heida Reed is an Icelandic actress who portrays Elizabeth Poldark in the BBC adaptation of Poldark.
Biography
Early life
Reed was born in Iceland. She left when she was 18 to go to London and study at the Drama Centre London until graduating in 2010.
Career
Reed started her career playing Masha in the play The Seagull. She has since took part in many plays, including The Winter's Tale, Top Girls and Scarlet in 2015 at the Southwalk Playhouse.
She also starred in the film, One Day alongside Anne Hathaway in 2011. Since 2015, she has portrayed Elizabeth Poldark in the BBC adapatation of Poldark.[1]
